The new versions are pretty damn good themselves. I am trying MG's Powdered Muscle now from TP, and it is neck and neck with the max performance SO.
I tried Super Pump Max today and overall thought it was pretty good although nothing mind blowing as the original SIZEON was, which remains to this day the best product I have ever consumed [I have yet to try the new versions].
My workout:Deadlifts:45X12, 135X12, 225X12, 315X3 [no belt, no chalk up to this point and grip slipped a little with 315 due to slightly sweaty palms], 365X1, 405X1, 425X1 [hard], 430X1 [very hard, took me around five seconds to complete the lift], then down to 315 for a couple of singles. I then went to 385 to try deadlifting in the sumo method but failed.
Hyperextensions:I did a drop-set with 25 pounds for 12 followed by body weight for 12. Then I did the same using 35. I should have done the 35 first but I had not trained back since my last contest which was late August so I wasn't sure how strong I would be.
I hate to say it, but I'm really not prepared for my contest on Saturday. I think I will open with 425 for deadlift and 295 for bench. If I get those lifts I will maybe go 435 and 300 and depending on how those go I will decide what to do for my last attempts.
Super Pump Max Review:I felt the Super Pump Max was a little better than the original formula in terms of gastrointestinal side effects [the original formula was UNBEARABLE for me and I had to cease using it]. Super Pump Max basically gave me a little pick-me-up and a bit more clarity during my workout. I tried the Fruit Punch flavour. I will have to try it again before giving it a final grade but overall it was pretty good but nothing mind-blowing. But then again, this was my second workout in a month so it's hard to really judge. For all I know I could have had a worse workout without it.
I am going back to bodybuilding now though as my body weight is currently 165 and I honestly think I looked much better at 180-190. I also don't think it is
that unhealthy to a little muscular. I think TA is right about the positive health effects of being thin, but it's not the end of the world to have some muscle mass. After my contest this Saturday I'm going to try to get back into bodybuilding and put on some size. I think I personally look better in the 180s and I am hardly getting tired after going up a flight of stairs at that weight. It's about time I got my SIZE ON! LOL.
