where would I start? It's not like I up and decided Beck was wacky just yesterday. I've been posting on Beck for a while now. If I did just decide yesterday that he was nuts, it would be easier to tell you why. I've posted on Beck and what he's doing many times here since 08. I can't really put it all into an easy to read paragraph for you. I guess you could search beck under my name and come up with all the shit if you want to read all that. That is if Ron fixed the search problem. I haven't been able to search anything before the server change. Others here probably remember my beefs with Beck well. Like Billy and 3333, but you've just started posting here so you probably don't remember any of that.
*I see Beck as someone who at one time in his life fell flat on his face, lost everything, lost his way and instead of whining like a little girl, picked himself up and took responsibility for himself.
*I see Beck as someone who has a love for his country, not in the simple sense of "Hey, I like America" but as someone who sees the U.S. as being truly a part of himself as much as anything else is. I see Beck as someone who literally takes pride in the U.S. who is not ashamed of our accomplishments, who is not ashamed to admit to our mistakes and who is not too proud to learn from them.
*I see Beck as someone who has a desire to see the U.S. return to and rely upon the basic founding principles of our country, not merely in words but in actions.
*I see Beck as someone who understands that policy itself, correct or incorrect is not the problem, but rather the nature of men, the dignity and self-reliance and responsibility of men is what is first and foremost important. I see Beck as someone who recognizes that policy and politics can only function properly when men function properly.
*I see Beck as someone who speaks truth, even unpopular truth, someone not afraid to admit that his personal beliefs are a direct reflection of his ideas and beliefs as it pertains to the country. I see him as someone who openly admits to this fact, when so many absurdly deny it about themselves.
*I see Beck as someone who relies on the teachings, principles, philosophies and ideas of American founders and thinkers and not of those who seek to see America fall or of those who have held utter distaste and contempt for America.
*I see Beck as someone far beyond political correctness, as someone who recognizes that the PC attitude is crippling and weak.
*I see Beck as someone defined by his faith, not by his personal ideas but first and foremost his faith. I see him as someone who puts more value in character and honor, in truth than in the value of policy, political correctness, emotional desires, fairy dust fairness and a host of other things.
*I see Beck as someone who believes it is mans duty to question everything, absolutely everything, to take nothing anyone says as absolute truth but to search out the answers for yourself. I see Beck as someone who presents those answers as he finds them but expects others to search out the truth for themselves, to not take his word on it, but to question themselves.
Anyway, that's how I see him. I could go on for awhile but that's a good start.
