Vince, what about issues such as hospital visitation rights and spousal health insurance et al?
let me word this carefully..I am against gay marriages
but I am all for civil unions and legal partnerships.
I am all for gays having every legal equivalent of a marriage, but I am all of the church being able to have their religious ceremony be there's. Vince is a smart guy and hopefully he can see the distinction.
We have separate health insurance but hospitals can be a bitch especially when you've been together for 4 years. I had to wait until the hospital met with his parents one time when he got hurt so it was kind of shitty....but they had a Starbucks inside .....

But that's life and sometimes you get the elevator and sometimes you get the window, no reason to jump off a bridge or anything like that. If life was fair then it would be kind of boring.
Here's the thing, out of all the arguments for being against gay marriage I've not heard any real good reason for it. But you have to understand that the problem is that everyone likes to stick their nose into other people's business...take down the Confederate Flag, celebrate this holiday, protest the killing of chickens...blah blah blah.....waste of time that can be used for more important things like getting lazy fucks off welfare, clean up the streets, take better care of our veterans, fix up the schools and teach kids the value of hard work. If we did that then this country wouldn't be in the shithole that it is presently.
As far as civil unions are concerned, that's nice but you have to understand that both sides of the coin are too stubborn to give any leeway or compromise...its all or nothing. Best for me to stay out of things that I can't control and just keep moving
