Its essentially a battle between two forces - more freedom and less government intrusion in your life, or more government control over everything.  

Personally, it seems to me the more government spending and control we have, the worse things seem to get.  

Now don't get me wrong, no govt has a lot of problems and bad consequences, but on balance, it seems tome, and many, thatt he alternative is worse.

McCain would not have supported the GZ mosque, not sued AZ over the illegals getting booted, not appointed Kagan and Soto, had a different Stim Bi,, not passed a healthcare mess like ObamaCare, not do a world apology tour, etc etc.
