How the hell is an exercise most people don't do overrated? The most overrated exercise ever is the bench press and it is completely useless "for most day to day activities", as opposed to shoulders that are used for almost everything. If you don't think so, try functioning with a torn rotator cuff.

and i used to do military presses all the time - i don't now and guess what - my shoulders are fine.
