I thought it was funny, the monologue is hilarious.

Actually the making of that is on the DVD is even better than the movie.

yes i expected it to be a lot better too. the fact it was not so hollywoodish polished was a + though.
i try to avoid these hollywood action movies as much as i can.

Sadly enough you would think so, but when you watch the making of of "JCVD", it becomes pretty clear that van Damme is one sensible, insecure little bastard that was afraid of others, his own shortcomings and try to overplay it with arrogance, drugs and money.

All went horribly wrong for him until his "psycho striptease" around filming "JCVD".

He's a pretty sad individual.
