I was in my brothers wedding and 90% of everyone there was a cop.  I mean there was at least 200+ cops there.  I sat down with a bunch of them and they were telling me satories about my brother.  His nicknames are Dinosaur and Robocop.  He is 6'6" and weighs about 290 to 300.  He reitres in Nov. after 30 years.  Since he inherited most of our parents estate and his wife works as an RN and he has that financial savvy like my mom he is sitting pretty good.  He is asshole other than that though.

A lot of people who constantly try to achieve and prove to the world they are worthy and importaint are those who have been overshadowed by an older brother who was mom and dads favourite. Arnold says that his brother Mienhard was bigger than him and his father favoured him. For the past 40 years Arnold has been seeking approval from his father.

Noworries has now stated that his brother is not only bigger than him but also very popular with his friends and fellow police officers and he also "inherited most of our parents estate". Noworries has been desperately trying to compensate for his feelings by trying to big himself up for years so that he too can be a success like his brother. A lot of people who develop addictions in life (drink, drugs, food) are trying to compensate for feelings of resentment and unease which stems back to their childhood being overshadowed by big brother.

When Onlyme/Keith/Noworries spouts off about his achievements he is actually saying "Mom and Dad, I am worthy, please see it". Now that he isn't achieving anything in sport or TV or anything the food addiction is becoming stronger.

He seems like a good guy so I hope this post helps make him see that his problems stem from his mind. Cure the unease and resentment towards your brother and the compulsive eating might be cured too.

Holy shit you sound like my old therapist.  Is your initals NM.  In all honestly I could care less about my brother nowadays.  he was my idol growing up only because of the high achievements he had and everyone was afraid of him.  But all he did was make it impossible for me to do as good.  As a kid I was ultra popular with other kids.  My brother as a kid was ultra popular with the parents.  They all wanted their kids to be like my brother.  Well I think as I got older I acheieved quit a bit considering I barely graduated.  he could have easily became a pro football player with his size.  Back in the 70's there were not many 300+ pound people playing football.  In fact i think there were less than 10 in the NFL at 300.  He went to college got some kind of degree in drafting did not play pro ball and ended up being a cop for the next 30 years.  I on the other I hated school only graduated because the teachers didn't want me back and they had to pass me so I could play baseball.  I was defitniely a fuck up, but I had a ton of fun and made a ton of money and even made good money while living in my car.  Once my parent died my brother could care less about me.  he actually invited me to at his wedding but it was his wife to made him.  We played golf on Maui for his honeymoon and that was the last time I saw or talked to him.  That was in 1996 or 97.  Now, all of a sudden he wants me to come to his retirement party next month.  well again it is his wife who wants me to come.  They even had my daughter and sister try to convince me to go.  Aint going.  If any of you want to go you can.  He has two golf courses reserved for a golf tournament and then a big dinner.  You can go as me.    Just be careful cause their are going to be a shitload of cops there.  There were 200 at his wedding.  Shit when I showed up there I thought he set me up to get arrested or something.  Anyway the above post is a pretty analysis.  Very impressed.  But I got my Getbig brothern to get me through these times.  Of course the therapists here are more fucked up than me.
