You know, I was actually thinking about this myself the other day. Like, what is the fucking point? The guy/girls is dead, and there is nothing you can do about it. Its not like the people who are dead is going to hear or see these "RIP" comments anyway, so why the fuck bother? Well let me tell you why people bother... Because it makes THEM feel better plain and simple. Humans are selfish by nature. Take facebook for example. I see some of these people only getting comments either when they have their birthdays, or they are dead..... Sad indeed.

If anyone here on the forum "died", how much of you life would be changed? There maybe a couple of people who know each other in life, but really who here wouldn't be able to deal with them being gone? Who here would mourn like they would if one of their own family members died?
