That's an awesome thread...The Americans can learn a thing or two from those guys...Because overall that line-up is better than every NPC show including the USAs and Nationals and better than many low-level IFBB shows...
These guys are a throwback to the late 80s early 90s...
Say what you will but the overall the conditioning, separation and tie-ins are better than the Olympia top 6....Olympia top 6 look like plastic balloons with 36+ inch waists...and these guys look grainy and conditioning with much smaller waists look alot better despite being smaller...I'm going to pay attention to these shows now...
Aceto even said he had Troy on 2200-2400 cal per day...Now, Troy is a much smaller bodybuilder but he looks alot better than majority of the crap we see onstage today...who do I blame?
HANY RAMBOD, CHAD NICHOLLS, GEORGE FARAH...These jackass have played a huge part in this starting with NICHOLS, with RAMROD the current #1 JACKASS.
Bottom line is all the extra mass has not equated to a better physique...
There's a reason Ronnie looked better 249 vs 287, that Flex looked better at 218 vs. 240 that Dennis James looked better at his rookie year in the 240s vs. 260s....
But with the American mindset of more is better, they're too stupid and arrogant to understand this and their physiques and health suffer...
Judges need to start rewarding these quality physiques and stop putting so much emphasis on useless mass...While it is bodybuilding, it not about who the biggest is and never should be...it's the best overall and Jay Cutler is a reflection of how crappy this sport has become...40+inch waist, minimal tie-ins, crappy structure, crappy posing and of course with Americans being a little "Com se com sa" mentally, they'll accept whatever is put in front of them...
