Well, Annapolis, Maryland a long time ago used to be the capital of the United States. Annapolis, Maryland is home to the US Naval Academy (and gets very, very crowded for anything dealing with it). It is on the Eastern seaboard, and also features the largest estuary in the world, the Chesapeake Bay.

Truly, oOne time  in college I went to a Catus Willy's Buffett, all these morbidly obese people came marching in, and they sat in a building within the buffett,  ad ate up all the food.Another time, there were again, people wearing hats in the same Buffett as before, watching a Orioles game on a lil TV. WTF, you are with your family...and DON'T let it be on a SUNDAY. that is when the Buses come with the church folk...who beleive that they are entitled to everything...you'd think Church going folk would be humble, but noooo they will push you out of the way to get to the bacon and sausage.

One time, there was this kid who was in the bathroom, he did #2, didn't wash his hands, and he comes out and starts putting his hands in the food, taste testing them. I asked him where his mother was and why was he sticking his dirty hands in the food. He knew he was wrong, I told his mother and told the manager. The manager had them removed, but not after the mother had a hissy fit, because she wasn't finished her plate of popcorn shrimp...

well Parks, you come off as a man who enjoys the finer things in life, so i'm not sure what the fuck possessed you to go to a buffet.  i went to one for the last time in 2008, because it was literally an hour and a half drive home and i was starving, didn't eat all day.

seems like the rejects of all species congregate at this places to compete on who can out-disgust the other sub species.

I was recently at a (chain) Buffet, where now they you have to pay for your drinks, if you don't pay you have to drink water---yet they have no way to enforce it. They have made the plates smaller, and moved the tables closer together.

98.9% of the people there were obese, and some even had lil motorized scooters to get their fat asses to the food, which ironically they scootered over to the most fattening dishes.

People do not know or don't care to remove their hats in a restaurant--just eat like you are at home--outside. Heard one guy complain how the girl he was on a date siad he had no manners---maybe the fact that you are eating with your hat on in a restaurant and are talking with your mouth full of food.

Some idiot had clogged up one of the sinks in the men's bathroom, and a guy who had his lil daughter with hi said, "Fvking adults, worse than the Fvking kids, they have no Fvking respect. Fvk em!", Which I thought was very ironic because here he is with his 2 yr old daughter cursing like a sailor, yet complaining about adults...

Kids who run around the dessert table, and eat up all the dessert---that was their main dish, dinner for them encompassed soda, Apple Pie, Cherry cobbler, Apple Crisp, Ice cream, and a pudgy stomach.

Mind you, this was NOT a ghetto place, but I seriously hate eating out with my fellow "Americans".

Hahaha
#1 if you go to a chain buffet and expect anything different then you are a damn fool.  Chain buffets are absolutely vile and I'd suspect that if you patronize them then you are low class, even if you were taught 'manners'.

#2 The manners you subscribe to are no longer applicable to the world.  Its 2010, people can put their elbows on the table, or wear a baseball hat indoors.  I suppose judging other people according to your standards isnt exhibiting poor manners?

There are some places in this world that don't suck. Where you can feel truely free.

Some parts of the US are kinda cool. But most of it really sucks. It's going down the shitter fast and almost no American people have the balls to do anything about it.

The people of the USA are pretty cool and it's a nice country, but the economic and political situation there is really shitty. It's only a good country for those who are already rich.

Most American people just don't even realize how much it sucks, cause they just don;t know anything else. That's how I used to be too.

I wasn't stating what I saw to say that I expected differently, but merely to state the very sad affair of the American way of life. We've slide into a a rut of grease, rudeness and self indulgence, that is liken to a pig in hot mud.
Nor did I say that make a habit of going to chian buffets, like Old Country Buffet, Golden Coral, Catus Willy's, or Sizzler for example, But I went. When I was a kid my parents taught us manners, and people were always complimenting my mom on how well behave we were. My parents were old skool, not the Baby Boomer be friends with your kids and bribe them.
The manners that I talked about are still applicable in this world, it can mean the difference between getting a job, a date, a car, etc. Or knowing how to dress for a occasion, knowing which fork to use. To assert that it is not applicable in this world, is to actually indicate that it is you who is low class.

Yes, people can put their elbows on the table, and wear their hats indoors, they always could. Wearing a hat in a restuarant is, well uncouth. Let me guess, you'd think it would be okay to wear a hat inside say, Ruth's Chris?

It is not my standards that i judge people by: it was the standards that were set by folks that at least HAD stardards...And why there has been a big boost in etiquette classes, mainly because the parents of kids today do not teach their children manners

but then I guess Jos A Bank waste their time having this book on sale

And BTW, in Shawn Ray's 1998 video "Shawn Ray: The Final Countdown", he was at The Sizzler, a well known chain buffet/steak place, so I guess by your definition, Shawn Ray is low class.

Well yes, the midget bodybuilder who allowed his own mother to go to jail for his cocaine is low class.  What a bad example.

Yes it would be terribly inappropriate to wear a hat at ruths chris, but again you are making these complaints based on observations at a chain buffet.  If you're looking for class, go somewhere classy.  Surely you wouldn't have had the same experience at ruths chris.

And lastly, jos a bank is selling those books because they're trying to sell an image.  Its the businees they're in.  Not to mention, jos a bank = mens warehouse, they're are constantly holding 2 for 1 sales etc... why? Because their clothes are crap.  They sell they style of professional for those who can't afford quality

Quite true...in some aspects. Now was coke or was it roids? Or was it the fact that drugs were at the house, so she got arrested? Can't stop that.

True, again...but I was looking for class.

Jos A Banks and Men's Warehouse have a different quality and different feel. Plus Jos A banks tie selection is off the chain, and of course their Corporate card is nice as well. Men's Warehouse, eh, go there if you need something real quick, but it's alot better than say, JC Penney's ;D
maybe I'm biased because I got my first "good" tie from Jos A Banks and my first tailored suit there....Men's Warehouse has some odd colored braces, though...

"Chinese are going take over the nation, yet everything in their cart wa made in China, and don't point it out to them, because, apparently Vietnam, Mexico and China are all in the same place".

you nailed it dude

this alone is the whole fuck up that america has become. you have dip shit democrats giving everyone shit for free and encouraging immigration, then you see people bitching that there are no jobs.

they dont understand that consuming is the basic essence of power.

also there are more english speaking chinamen then there is people in the united states.

Republicans don't close the borders either. Hell when the 911 attack happened, the border basically didn't change :-\ Wonder why?
