he was taking IFBB pro-level dosages of steroids and growth.,............dont kid yourselves

now within that context there is a dosage spectrum, and he was probably on the lower end of that spectrum.......

but what a weekend warrior (like the people on this boards are mostly) who considers a couple shots of test, some deca, and dbol a "big cycle"...................would be nothing to shawn ray

there are NO supermen, nobody looks like shawn ray off some deca and dbol.............if there were, then someone would have came along during the 60s and 70s and early 80s with shawn's level of development............b ut they didnt............people that looked like shawn didnt come along until the late 80s when the drugs and protocols got more advanced

According to Shawn he stated he never took insulin. I remember him saying this when he had has forum and I asked him. Don't know how true that is, but that was what he said.

How many 17 year olds look like Shawn did?

You gotta admit his genetics were superior to 90% of guys out there.

At 18 he looks like a slightly smaller version of his prime.

Most guys of any age will never look anything like he looked at 18. Do you really think that's because they aren't taking "IFBB level doses". Some guys just have great genetics, regardless of how much it pains people to admit it.

nobody is say shawn wasnt special,..........his genetics make me ashamed of myself

but he was still working within the confines of reality..........he did will himself that muscle, he took a bunch of gear like everyone else, and i do mean a bunch

cause like i said, if you could look like 90sw shawn did off deca and primo.,...........at least one or two guys in the 60s and 70s would ahve achieved that level of muscularity

shawn isnt even that much of a natural mesomorph freak.............you see what he looks like now, he is a short fat guy

he had a tremendous response to gear though

That and GH, I believe. He said he was very conservative and old skool about what he did. Remember his 1st Mr. O he was 201.5 pounds. His last Mr. o he was 218...he hardly went over 245 in the offseason.

I guess we need to define all drugs...

Some newbie might define all drugs as anything over 2grams total of injectable steroids and pills
I think all drugs is over 3 grams of injectables and pills plus slin, GH, IGF, SEO, t-3, clen, ephedrine, DNP

I think Shawn was was def around the 2,500mg plus t-3, clen ephedrine, and GH (6-8 i.u)...His body never had the all drug look..the all drug look version of Shawn Ray is Dexter Jackson, although I don't care what anyone says, Dexter can't hold a candle to Shawn...too many structural flaws, and filled with oil...

Awesome more classic physique to bad he was so short. I bet you he ran the same doses as everyone else maybe cut the gh and slin doses a little lighter.

offseason 1000mg per week split half deca half sust.

On season anapolan one at first then increased to 2 per day, winstrol 100mg per second day then increased to daily, test prop or suspension 100mg per second day then increased to daily.

Hair loss at a young age could be genetic but certainly an indicator of winstrol use. I think winstrol

I would also say he took a lot of time off when he could.

Guy had great genetics and obviously good response to use, makes it hard for some here to believe.

I actually can believe the insulin though, his physique is and was the last of the 80's classic lines that went into the 90's and early 2000's. The rest as we all know it is history as far as REAL classic physique goes with maybe the exception of Cormier who could still pull off the vacuum pose.

Ray, still had the hard look to his physique and like a lot of others have stated "insulin," usually fucks everything up and shouldn't even be in bbing.

For example here's a hint, look at Stan McQuay's recent physique at the Sacramento, good shape, yes, good structure, yes, but not as sharp as before turning pro, compare that to his 03/04 nationals and you can see the difference, he's bigger now, that's for sure, but the use of GH, and insulin is MORE evident. Waist grew more, and the overall look screams "INSULIN." I'm just calling a spade a spade

ray looked good,,useed what we use but carry it well,,inaddition he did not abuse insulin nor did he abuse gh,,5'7 200-215lb going at times to 230 he just didnt use as much peptides ,,rest was like everyone else,,oh and he actually worked out lol thats a plus

I have read Kevin abused the shit out of insulin. He obviously did something different than anyone else did. Fuck this amazing response to drugs bullshit there are other black guys who are just as talented as Kev in bbing who didnt blow up like he did who have the same response to drugs I bet
