what the hell is a thermal laser temperature gun?  they talk about it just after 16 minutes in and say someone could have been shot if they used them?  Is this a gun equiped with some kind of automatic firing capacity via thermal laser detection?  

I know about the thermal heat detectors but he sounds like he's talking about somthing I wouldn't like...

I'll add something to this doc.  In colorado, they made it illegal to run your car without you in it.  In the winter, many people run out and start their car to warm up the engine before leaving in the morning.  someone in goverment didn't like that.
