10 seconds of intence cardio, several times per day.

just like a 100m sprinter does, this should result in exceptional lean and muscularly balanced physique right?


I started easy today with 2 times so far, sustaining a 1300Watt output. I lowered the seat in order to get more leverage and speed on the air dyne cardio bike for this.


this engages fast twitching fibers only, and you stop before your body taps in to the sugars barely, which happens after about 8 sec all out, and also before you tap into any heart/lung capacity. so it should be a very safe way of working out. I got up first thing in the morning and did this and I have had a nice warm tingling feeling the whole day. must be working.

possible the ultimate workout routine?

ain't cycling useful for like 6 muscles in your entire body? I'd think speed swimming or something would be way more useful.

anyone else had success with high intencity training?


perhaps no exercise should last more than 10 seconds so that ATP is used exclusively? And that every excercise should be done with as rapid motion as possible to only utalize 100% fast twitching fiber? why bother with any other type of excercise if it is this sertiain physique one is striving to achieve?

the rest could be a waste of time, and extra physical training you get from your daily chores anyway.

anyone knows how long intense workout can be before cortisol is released? it wouldn't surprise me if this type of workout releases zero cortisol as well!


I think it also made my body dump something into my bloodstream though, I can feel it but not sure what it is, could it be HGH? glucose or even glucagon?

I use to do alot of judo shit when I was a kid(Arm rolls/hand stand ship or somethign like that), that shit can get pretty instense in short burst, but I donno how do able it is for adults, might cause some back problems.

right, I noticed most MMA fighters are very lean, because it involves the whole body at the same time and the physical straining is in short bursts.

except for the heavy weights, they don't seem that lean, for the most part.

I think pretty much any exercise is going to release some cortisol. The question is what is the sweet spot of the bell curve

your legs are rooted to planet earth much like a root of a plant.

when you get my age you desire to test your abilities even more and not give up. thus having said that its always easiest to start out with squats for me.

yes, in fact everyone should ground them self now and then by stepping outside without shoes so that the feet are in contact with the earth, because not doing this can be the cause of some 'unexplainable' little pains and aches sometimes

after a minute or even 10 seconds of something of maximum intensity you need water or grapejuice or something to eat like beans and cornbread or simply rest or take a piss or shit

this working out for long periods of time when your older and only drinkng water doesnt exist when your older

i find it best to do short but many workouts then resume eating and my day job aswell in order to recover

after 50 pushups i have to consume plenty of calories or fluids there is no way around that if i desire to do some light manual labor like painting after pushups

this is pretty much true all we need to do is to push ourselves intensley or to our heart capacity or muscle capacity a few times a day no matter what the exercise. sprinting followed by pushups or chinups would be best

i actually went straight to bed after this to recuperate and then after a few minutes I went at it for a second round

immediately after I had some splitt peas, some tbs of rice protein and water
