Because he hasn't done squat.  He's an empty suit.  I look at exactly what 33 mentioned in this thread:  gas, prices, unemployment, inflation, weekly jobless claims, the misery index, housing starts, home values, consumer confidence . . . . his approval ratings. 

Even his only "accomplishment"--the partisan, unpopular Obamacare--is probably going down in flames before the U.S. Supreme Court. 

Those are all objective facts.  His presidency is an absolute failure at this point.

Really?  How else do you judge the president?  

Not everything that happens on the president's watch is his fault, or is something he has control over, but that's just the way it is.  The buck stops at the top.  If the country is better off under the president's administration, he gets credit, and vice versa.  [Edit:  not sure if "vice versa" is correct.  Meant to say if country is worse off, president takes the blame.]

Not only are the indicators worse, but he broke numerous campaign promises.  In fact, I think his entire campaign of "hope and change" was a fraud.  He isn't different.  He's a garden variety partisan politician, who can read a good speech from a teleprompter.  

He has been a failure at getting Republicans to reach compromises, something Bill Clinton was able to do.  He was dishonest about earmarks.  He misled the public about posting bills online for public review and comment for 48 hours before they are signed.  He misled the public about having healthcare debates/discussions on C-SPAN.  He misled the public about getting all troops out of Iraq.  He misled the public about military commissions and Gitmo.  He misled the public about the Commander in Chief's ability to order troops into combat.    

I could probably come up with about ten other reasons, but I'll leave that to 33.

8.  Permanent bushtax cuts
9.  ZERO capital gains tax
10.  Lower corp tax rate to 15%

The stupid Democrats are scaring the crap out of the elderly and condemning the plan for eventually phasing out medicare. Medicare will eventually run out of money and so will Social Security. The longer the politicians take to address the problem, the worst the economy will be in the future. Eventually, Ryan will be vindicated and he will be serving a huge spoonful of "I told you so" to all the Democrats and RINOs who voted against his budget plan.

There are more and more people retiring and less and less workers producing. EVERY financial expert has said the same thing. Ryan tries to privatize Medicare. okay..you make a fine argument..as I said I haven't read the plan but will do so and then discuss it with you...but...you seem to still be very one-sided...saying that the dems are delusional....there is delusion on both sides...the repubs think we can just balance the budget by only spending cuts....thats not true...and all bi-partisan committees say the same...we need to raise taxes and we need to cut spending a well..its the only way

--I've said before that Palin is a simpleton, her "death panel" remark was a scare tactic but in ObamaCare there are rationing boards for late life care.
