I think its that bird everywhere
That is a Old World bird---not really common in the US, North American blackbirds are all black, including bill, slimmer build than the Crow, similar beak...examples of new world blackbirds are The Redwing black bird...
Many times Old World (Europe, Africa, Asia) animals and birds are diff than New World (N. America, S. America, Caribbean)---for instance Old World Vultures are diff than their New World counterparts---genetic testing has shown that new world vultures are more closely related to storks...whereas Old World Vultures are more closely related to their raptor (Falconiformes) brethren...both have similar habits, body design, and flight patterns, and serve the same niche in nature...like aboreal squirrels do and monkeys do, for example.
