peck-deck is the greatest chest movement ever

pec deck tryes hard to mimmick dumbell flys, and THEY are the "greatest" by far compared to that silly machine.

pec deck, hack squat, etc.
pec deck supersetted with dips is a great finisher for chest...a HUGE pump...

i used to think the stretch station at my old gym was useless, until I started using it for various angles...

I think I have you all beat.  My gym is pretty good overall, which makes it surprising when you look over in the corner and see not one, but TWO of these things:

A fully automated "personal trainer" and multipurpose gym station, all in one.  I guess you're just supposed to sit down, press a button, and do your entire workout.  I've never seen a single person use them.  I don't think they even turn on anymore, actually.

i only use the lat pull down as a assitance movement...so its not that big of a deal...

i only use the leg press sometimes on rep day when i feel the weight on my knees, and not the muscle...

bench

WHAT CAUSES THIS?!?  This has been happening to me BIG TIME the last couple of weeks.  Seriously pissing me off.  I think maybe it's cause I fried my quads, since it started happening after I had a really good, draining leg day.

You could just superset db flyes with dips though. I don't know about the pec-deck, maybe its just the one in the gym I go to that sucks...it hurts my shoulder joint and I don't feel it in the chest.

I don't know why people are slating pec-deck - the ones I've used in various gyms over the years have been alright. Obviously they're more of an isolation exercise but I've found room in my chest workouts to use them at the end for a good overall pump.

Problem with pec decs is not all of them are smooth and alot of them are hard on the shoulder joints.

fixed... them shits delayed my RC recovery by a year i think.. and they actually weakened the orgin of my pectoralis minor.. For me.. i go with bench flys with a modified movement.. i dont go with fill ROM... i use heavy weight and go half way..

My previous gym had one. When I compare it with my GF, it's advantage is that it gives you a free back massage (read: don't have to do the dishes)

Most people sit too low. I'm pretty tall (6ft) but when I adjust the seat to a high position I get a perfect squeeze in my chest without any pain in the delts.
