I agree about the insulin. I feel the hypo episodes many experience is due to slamming a ton of liquid carbs when you do the injection. I think probably due to a huge endogenous release of insulin... then comes the Humalog or R on top of that. Sipping a carb solution slowly is better and you get away with *much* less total carbs.

Vis a Vis Insulinotropic effects; I might add, and for the same reasons as intimated by Van bilderass, the Leucine based carb concoctions, that many assholes contrive for post workout use, are even worse than the 'I'm taking x amount of Insulin, thus I need Y amount of carbs' methodology that many seem to over do.
Oh and, Van, do you laugh your bollocks off at the charlatan ways of fat slag know nothings such as Fatpanda?
