E39 5 series is an option & one of my faves.

I'd recommend a W123/W124, but Im thinking you want smth relatively maintenance/repair free. these are 25 - 30 year old cars and don't think it's smth you want.

check out the E46 or E39, awesome cars.

Right about the break lights.  That car is so much fun to drive....still has some pep and like you said you can zip in and out of traffic.  I hardly drive it now, but just don't want to sell it.  EVERY time I take it into a shop, one of the young employees asks what I want for it.... ;D

Check Kelly Blue Book than you fucking moron.  You obviously don't have a lick of experience as far as buying and selling cars goes.  ::)

#1 none of those cars have mileage showing in the pics

#2 private party values are the highest of the three.

you're arguing about the difference between a beater or daily driver and a good or great car.

i have a jeep which is my current beater.  cost- $4000

i have a ford lightning which is my 'good' car. cost- $18000

i am selling the lightning and using the money to A- get a $12k daily driver (beater) and take the jeep off-road (lift, wheels/tires, etc.)

starting to make sense?  point being you can get an almost new car for daily use around $12k if it's decent.  anything nearer to $20 is getting pretty nice if you're buying used.

i've bought and owned 8 cars and i'm only 27 and i've helped fix more for and been involved in their sale.  friends are mechanics/dealers.  family of car people, etc.

now think about that before you open your dumb fucking mouth again.
