Dillet didn't know how to pose but in this pic his legs aren't even flexed at all (no homo).
Is this the "pre-synthol" Flex?

Paul couldn't pose, and he was lazy in the gym and was hoping to get by on his genetics. Flex was similar depending on what phase of his career he was in. He seemed to work a lot harder prior to his shaved head/latter period. I've never heard anything about Paul being anything but a lazy trainer, matter of fact any article I've ever seen/read on the guy, he was poked and prodded at for being so lazy and his excuse was usually "I don't want to do a photoshoot and get hurt" or something to that effect.

I remember seeing that picture of a 17 year-old Dillett in Flex magazine way back in the 90's and my first thought was "that girl looks embarrassed as hell to be seen with him".  :-\

This came from Musclemag, 1997, it was a set of three pics, I believe. I had the poster, and it made me lift like a madman...

*Flex had sideburns...

That's because Dillet was on low dosages :)

Lee priest had said that Dillett used low doses. Low doses to get to 280-285,lol. But, he only trained--for a pump, that is about it...He didn't squat, said it was useless for him.

Actually, why would low doses be the reason why he was massive, but Flex showed him up, and won that show?

*edit, this was in 1996, as Shawn Ray was at this contest as well.

it's prolly just the timing of the shot.  I'd be he's just letting go, while Flex held it a half-second longer, the shot was taken, published, and eveyone's all "OMG Dillet can't pose!" ::)

It was three shots. First shot, Flex is holding up his finger as if to say, "This is how you do it."
Second shot, Flex is beginning the crab shot, this is the last shot...the Poster showed him doing the shot fully, with I think a slight turn of the neck.

Two guys that are nothing without their "chemical enhancers".  With drugs they  both have good physiques and I think Dillet is the better of the two due to his height advantage.  Flex is almost as much of a gnome as me.  ;D Didn't Flex get a new kidney a while back?  What a waste of a donation, kinda like rock legend and societal loser David Crosby.   Has little Flex ruined that one yet and if so, will he blame it on a congenital disorder?  What a maroon.  Both of Flex and Paul.

coming from you...... i know ur not serious

flex is caught in full pose/contraction of every muscle

we all know paul couldn't pose .... but hes not even near the pose by pauls standards....

pauls most muscular was about his best pose im sure....ab thigh aswell maybe ....about the only poses he could hit consistantly well

imagine if paul could pose as well as flex.........

Dillett seriously has to be retarded to pose like that, its like he has no control over his body  ???

You're right, sometimes they had to carry him on and off the stage

I never saw Dillett compete, but I did see him guest pose.  Conditioning wise, he was in pretty good shape, but his posing was terrible.  He was oblivious to his music, made no effort to coordinate a routine, and would literally stop in between poses to catch his breath!  With music blaring in the background, he'd be bent over gasping for air.....very polished.....very professional...

Wasn't Romano responsible for Paul's diuretic mishap?  Seems like all these guys in the 1990's were getting all screwed up with there potassium and water.

STAY POSITIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
