I agree with Ron. Fox is by far the leader in all cable, or otherwise, straight up news.
1) Sophisticated people do watch higher end broadcast. There are a lot out there to select from. If your TV control is locked on 2 & a half men, that may be a problem.
2) Sophisticated people are the few who really have an interest in gaining insight and an overwhelming quest for knowledge. Hopefully for the obtaining of wisdom. They can be longshoremen like Eric Hoffer (if not knowing who EH was, too bad) who's acclaimed True Believer still echo's as one of the most important book of the last century. Or respected think tank members, of any and all different views. With any luck, some GB members, may qualify.
3) Sophisticated people do need exchanges if ideas, expanding views of others and a confirmation of theory and purpose. Exploring of thought to new and different protocols for advancement is a steeping stone to a better future.
I wonder if people down on FoxTV really watch it at any length and with a nonjudgmental view? If you had your judgment might be different. But than again, that would have to be without bias. Hard for some people to to honest with themselves rather than being influence by the misinformed (or downright lies) of persons with a negative political agenda.
