Hold on tight! We're going for a ride!

We are getting a first glimpse of the athletes as they're introduced to the crowd.

Dexter Jackson: best conditioning to date. Similar to last years olympia but with added size

Ronny Rockel: A lot of hype pre contest, but something hasn't translated well to the stage. Soft in the glute/ hams

Ben Pakulski: Best legs in the show, but the upper body (especially the back) still needs work. Arms have improved dramatically and he's done his homework in terms of conditioning.

Evan Centopani: WoW. Granite hardness and crazy striations everywhere! Dorianesque! Enormous arms and crazy legs. The chest still needs work but has improved dramatically. Best conditioning thus far.

Foud Abiad: Large and in charge but lacking the separation we'd like to see. Certainly very conditioned but a slight film of water is obscuring his detail in the rear poses. Still time to "sweat it out"

Ben White: Suprise of the show, Crazy glute/ham tie in. outrageous back and round delts. A little more calf and quad sweep and he'd be in the running for 1st place.

Get with it - we are in Los Angeles, and the sun is hout, and I am still hungry - no breakfast yet, but heading now!

Prejudging begins at 12 noon - not sure if the Flex Bikini Model Search is first, or the Pro's start.

Sylvester Stallone: Posing to "living in America" Great forearm vascularity and nicely shaped pecs. A little light in the leg department but the foot long schlong more than makes up for it. Great smile.

Boost, did you hear the high pitched squeals and ensuing slap fight when Ronnie and Dorian hit the stage? A buddy who's in the audience texted me saying it started out when two skinny guys, one wearing a Hulkster shirt pulled out 12,509 scanned pictures of Ronnie Coleman out of a pink briefcase and told some other guy wearing a 'Blood and Guts' beanie that Ronnie was better than Dorian. I guess it got pretty ugly. It came to a head when the Ronnie fan stood on his chair and proceeded to let out some deafening "whoo whoo" cheers when Ronnie did his trademark split. Then some fat bald guy on a bike hit the Dorian fan with a computer microphone.

Things sure got ugly. It took an intervention of biblical proportions to finally clam things down as the ethereal image of the late Ben Weider (RIP) descended from the clouds, holding a thong in each hand screaming "I ~~nearly~~ died for you bitches"
