Libya is not our problem and it's not strategically vital to us. We're not the only country in NATO. How about someone else pulls their weight for a change?

The Euro countries can't because they don't have the military capabilities. We are Europe's military these days. Which, to be honest, is complete bullshit given that having us act as their guardian allows them to have little to no defense spending.

The EU has 600 million more people than the US. They should have their own military. Of course, any increase in military spending would pretty much destroy the already bankrupt Euro-zone countries so it'll never happen.

Yeah, my gut reaction was for the USA to stay out of it.  On paper it seems like a good Thing to do, (intervine) but as you eluded to, they'll just hate us the same.  Fuck em.

What do you think was going on in Iraq?  Do you actually know the history?  Do you know who we were protecting with no-fly zones?  Hint:  many of them were rebels or helping the rebellion as well as those caught in the middle. 

The Iraqi people attempted to rise up against that dictatorial douchebag and paid dearly for it.

If you're supporting Libya on the grounds of "people's revolution" then argument against Iraq simply makes no sense.
