Donald Trump on Gun Control

For assault weapon ban, waiting period, & background check
I generally oppose gun control, but I support the ban on assault weapons and I support a slightly longer waiting period to purchase a gun. With today’s Internet technology we should be able to tell within 72-hours if a potential gun owner has a record.

It's sad that so many republicans are screaming "Trump 2012" when he's had so many liberal positions.

Maybe they don't research teh candidates, and they just catch celebrity fever.

Why not just choose a boring candidate who has been consistently republican. This isn't a small issue - this is a huge issue for the last 20 years. Assault weapons ban. Trump supported it during Bush's term. insane.

The whole point is the right to bear arms is a constitutional right, end of story. And this goes for any other of the anti-gun politicians, it is my right, if you don't like it tuff shit.

My most important issue right now is economy and the debt as well as the currency - not a postion trump took ten years ago that he has since chamnged his mind on.
