great deal for At&t. if it goes though, they will be the only big company that can do voice and data at the same time.

Yeah, great for AT&T, just what they need. More money.

This chart is a little old too. If this doesn't upset you, then you don't understand why this is bad, or you don't care about humans as a species.

The original breakup of AT&T by the government because of their "monopoly" was bad for the economy... Many jobs were lost because of that requirement.

Sure it was.  ::) A short term economic hit isn't worse than a long-term one.

It was... Absolutely.

AT&T ended up laying off almost 80% of their entire work force after that breakup... You don't think that caused a problem?

I don't think of things in the short term, but yes I am sure if that was the case it hurt people for that small bubble of time. Yes, I'm sure a few people got hurt long-term, but most of them picked up and went on to jobs with similar companies most likely.

You'd be shocked to know the damage it caused.

So, AT&T married T-Mobile? I guess there will be no reception afterwards.  ;)

The merger is so they can exploit synergies (1+1=2.25) between the two companies.. ;D

lol
true cus at&T gets all of t mobile's towers. Which, they say, will give 95% of the usa 4g coverage.
my question is do you lose grandfathered unlimited data moving to a 4g plan? ???

nope not for Tmobile users. Went from sidekick to new droid 4g. Actually, they were running a special plan unlimted data, text and 1500 min for 70 bucks if you go with 4g. They gave me a deal because Tmobile is discontinuing sidekicks.
