Good luck Slacker! I'm actually shopping for a mid 60's Mustang or lat 60's camaro as we speak. The plan is to modernize it and put a brand new crate engine in it..

what do you think of Suzuki? I looked at a 2009 GSX-R 600, black...private seller...I just want something for when the gas goes up, something I hook up, but I got the cheap man's disease (don't want to pull the trigger).

the only suzuki i really like is the hayabusa.....suzuki hasnt impressed me in a long time....my girl has a gsxr-600, and its alright....fun little bike..


and IRS sucks...i hate that shit more, and more everyday..

yeah, IRS doesn't work too well with high hp cars although, the SL65 has run low 11s, on stock tires, with the AC on and hardtop down...and the SL65 AMG Black Series has run lower as well...

IRS is just really overated....look at some of the top scca guys, and various other street car autocross leagues....standard axles are whipping IRS ass....the only people who want IRS are the people that have not experienced it....not enough pay off for the price..

if you want a GM crate engine i would go with a LS427, or LS454....then get the stock heads ported, and a cam....and have a lot more power, and a lot more awesome sounding car...


you probably get that i am not a fan of the ram jet ;D

Option 3 was a 72 chevelle with a conservative duramax.... 24mpg, 700lb/ft, 540hp
