Started Max-OT traning protocol this week
« on: April 06, 2011, 04:37:48 PM »
I like it so far.  For those of you that aren't familiar, it focuses on 4-6 reps per set, 2 (heavy) sets per exercise, and short workout times (30-40 mins).  Definitely requires a lot of focus and intensity, but it is fun so far.  It produces a different kind of post workout feel (more tired fatigue as opposed to pump fatigue), but it really makes you feel like you've been working hard.  If you're interested, check it out here:

I'll keep y'all posted.

My buddy tried Max-OT just out of college, by which time he'd already forged a good, solid foundation.
He experienced excellent gains on it - perhaps because it was so different to how he'd been training to that point.

Report back with your progress at the end.

I gotta say that barely I'm barely a month in and have made noticeable gains.  5 lbs heavier, and leaner to boot.  I really think that the heavier workouts work for me personally, but might not for everyone.   I'll keep checking in.
