The US military is mostly just killing Muslem peasents who would are complete nobodies. They piss people off, the people turn into "insurgents", and they fight.

Creating a problem, and then acting like a hero when you battle the problem you created in the first place.

 What's heroic about all this?

Che is right.

US military guys are just like plumbers, construction workers, McDonald's Managers or whatever.

Just guys getting a paycheck and doing a job. Nothing more.

They aren't doing anything noble right now. In fact they are doing a lot of fucked up shit!
No u dumb fuck!!! there is no draft, therefore service members are volinteerring to put themselves in harms way for there country.  Pople at mcdonalds and plumbers are not. I joined after 911 because of what happend.  I didnt join for the money.

 You are stupid then.

95% of the US military troops aren't protecting the country. They are being used as pawns for the rich and powerful.

You can't see that? You really think that all this shit going on in the Middle East is really about fighting terror and protecting the US?

You are very gullible and naive if you believe that.

Mods: Feel free to move this post to its appropriate location...

I just had a couple of family members return from combat duty and on the way home from the airport they were still in their combat  gear (minus weapons of mass destruction) so we stopped at one of the shopping centers to get some civilian clothes so that they could go out to some of the LV hot spots.

I was pretty amazed by the vast number of civilian shoppers who made it a point to come up and thank my guys for their overseas service. Both of them have been there more than once and are looking forward to a return 'visit", and both of them were very 'touched' by the people that stopped them to say a simple "Thanks!" or to spend a few minutes talking about their own sons and daughters who were still over there.

That 45 minute shopping experience was very moving and on the way out of the store while returning to the car we passed a good number of people who acknowledged us by some sort of sign I was unfamiliar with.

So when we got back to the house they both showed me a website video which explained it.

I'm forwarding it to you GetBiggers who may be interested in a new way of showing a small token of appreciation.

Check it out ......        http://www.gratitudecampaign.org/shortmovie.php

Nice story.

Nothing makes my fucking blood boil more than punk brats who think they know how the world goes.

Coincidentally, i used to be one of those punks.

When I meet them as individuals i'll be cool with them and support them.

But overall I don't support most things the US military is doing.

Most of the US military is spread around the world playing war games to boost the income of the defense industry and other industries that profit from war like construction.

 Just look at it realistically.

You are right. They are doing business, and when there is someone to kill or something to destroy business is good.

Another misconception...

We are in other parts of the world because countries can't deal with their own problems and protect themselves. If it weren't for the US and the military standing as a constant reminder to deter threats to allies...
I however don't expect you to understand this since you and Che are brainwashed Libtards that think the world will be ok if we all hold hands and sing Kumbaya.... What a crock of shit.

Hey, didn't Hitler say the same thing? Only that the jews were the problem, and the gas chamber was the answer.

By the way, the United States has not once asked for payment to protect other countries.. And the ones that were supposed to pay us back for military actions have never paid a dime back to the United States.. I say pull out of all the countries where US troops are and post them at the United States Borders.. If a country wants the United States Military in their country, they will pay for it. Maybe we wouldn't be in the financial mess we are in now if it was like I described.

The price of war. Sometimes good people get killed due their own leaders making a terrible decision to go to war in the first place. The Japanese leaders knew this when they attacked Pearl Harbor. It is not the U.S's intentions to harm innocent people, but there are a few incidents where rogue military personnel have done their own thing. Just like the recent discovery of the the Army guys who killed innocent Afghans for fun. They will get their due sentence.

I was at the LA Kings game last night and they honored a service man who was in the audience in his full uniform.  Everyone stood up for a good 5 minutes and cheered and clapped, people were all around his seat patting him on the back, shaking his hand, the guy broke down in tears.  Pretty amazing to see so much gratitude and it was quite heart warming to see fellow Americans give tribute to the sacrifices these men make.
sacrifice?

You dont have to agree with wat their doing, but they are over there for this country. to blow shit up, kill people, and get a paycheck they couldnt earn elsewhere because they are uneducated.  So u should support them.

He was a player and in a special position.
Weaker people need some external guidance - it's easy to criticize if you can keep yourself out of it.
yea. einstein was a douche for that comment, considering his help in creating the atomic bomb, and also the fact that the military is not inherently bad like he says, for as long as evil exists in the world then force will be necessary.

You really think that all this shit going on in the Middle East is really about fighting terror and protecting the US?

thats exactly what its about. read a book.

We all know Americans are the good guys...
we didnt start that war, we were simply defending ourselves and retaliating for attacks on us, and  those bombings saved net lives and net money.
