March accomplished an unusual feat. I forget the year, but he competed in both a lifting event and bodybuilding contest at the same show - did pretty well, too. I seem to recall sickness caused him to deplete enough to step onstage. |

slik i actually don't remember why i put them there y probably meant york but  ?. if you go to york i hear they sell new exercise charts for a few bucks forget where i heard it , probably facebook.  |

traing manual from late 50's
billard put out a nice training manual first one had abe goldberg aka only guy who got the best of joe weider in a business deal. the second version had bruce randall on the cover but featured goldberg same pics along with some of bruce r added. |

i remember that i think i covered it here somewhere not sure where though. he was overweight i think for the lifting contest and competed in a higher class than he wanted, but enterd the bodybuilding contest that was held along with the lifting and won it . i think it was the fich mr universe will have to fact check to be sure.march didn't like to compete in mister contest but hoffman pretty much forced him to , to prove that olympic lifting built worldclass bodies to. |
