Should I consider this a lift or did the spotter help too much??

You can see my frustration once I finish the lift, cause I asked dude not to touch the bar unless it started doing back down.  But I can understand him being nervous I can't really blame him. I didn't have enuff energy to try the lift again.

You need to arch more and bounce if off your chest more - that's how we roll here.

Otherwise, good lift.  Get a better spotter next time.

No not really!  I'm still short of my goal once I reach that then I'll crack a smile for a second.... Maybe.

Tell your spotter to keep his hads off the bar completely and it will be a good lift.  Hate it when spotters invalidate what might of possibly been a good lift by touching the bar.

Trust me I went over it with him about 3 times.  He was just a random dude I asked I could tell he was nervous but it's ok next time I try it I'll take my own spotter.

Understood.  That's why I always try if possible to use my own spotters.   A lot of people freak out when the see a lot of weight on the bar and just can't resist touching it.

It makes me wonder how some people can't properly spot? I hate it when people touch the bar.  >:( You can tell them,"Do not touch the bar". Just keep it level.  8)

I love IRL when you meet some one and they all have an uncle or cousin or someone you'll never meet who can always bench 500 all natural.

they say they've seen them do it so you ask them how many plates on the bar is 500.  they can never answer because they don't even know what 500lbs looks like.

Yes its that time again.

After hitting PB's in the gym today just wondering what you guys CURRENTLY bench and at what weight!

My best - clean - no roids ever - 210 bodyweight

425  flat

315 - 11 - flat

315 x 7 incline

Barbell bench: 100 lbs, since my disagreement with my right rotator cuff.

I sprint quarter miles < 5 seconds.
What's the possibility of getting down to 4 seconds man?

Really.

that pisses me off.

Because when I posted that pic of me at 262 , I was hitting 315 for ten on incline, and repping t for an easy 12-15 on flat, It didn't even feel heavy.  Hell I was close gripping with it.

But I didn't try a 1RM....I probably could have hit a nice number. oh well. I'm a dick.

whats up with all these people only losing 2-4 reps from flat to include. This is weird to me cause i've done 3 plates per side flat as high as 24 reps and i've never done more then 8 reps on incline with the same weight

I would lose maybe 8+ reps from 3 plates flat to incline
