It's not whether or not he can eat that amount, it's whether or not his kidneys can survive on that amount in the long run.

As a matter of fact, I will retract my above statement and make it slightly more elaborate.

The human body isn't made to sustain a 5'8 300 pound man that eats like a morbidly obese human being.  The Kidneys are pretty delicate in that large amounts of protein consumed can cause serious damage.  I call bullshit on his claims, because most human beings would suffer from acute renal failure due to kidney stones following such a diet.  At the very least, he is certainly in line for a kidney stone or two.

Have you every tried consuming 500 grams of protein daily for a year?  Give that a try and let us know how that works out for you.

Also, I could be mistaken, but the common recognized value for caloric intake that translate into weight gain is 1 pound = 3,500 calories.  Assuming Jay burns half of the calories he takes in daily (Highly doubt), can he be gaining a pound every day?

This is speculation on my part, but I still call bullshit.

"1"

I'm in late on this thread but want to comment on this. It may have already been address and I'm just repeating what already have been stated. I come from a family of 7 kids and I easily eat more than double the amount of protein than anyone in my family and have done so for decades. I've cut back a lot recently but still probably get 200 grams/day. I use to shoot for at least 300 grams but routinely went well over.

Two of my brothers have had kidney stones and one seriously and more than once. They both described it as the most painful experience they ever had. I've never had any kidney problems. So there are many factors involve with kidney problems. Both of these brothers are over weight and not exactly health nuts.

Having said that I absolutely, positively agree that the human body was never meant to carry the amount of weight and certainly not the amount of muscle mass as a Jay Cutler at his height. It should be painfully obvious when you consider what a person must do, what Jay must do, to develop and maintain such an enormous amount of muscle mass. I believe that their health problems do not mostly come from anabolics and peptides (rec drugs/diuretics are a different story) per se. Nor does it come from the huge amount of food they eat (I believe that Michael Phelps eat as much as he says he does but is able to burn off those calories). I believe their health problems come from simply being so big. Carrying so much muscle. There's a reason why it's so hard to build muscle beyond normal levels. Your body doesn't want it and will fight it every step of the way and given the slightest excuse will shed muscle quickly. Ever had your arm or leg in a cast of six weeks? The amount of atrophy makes your limb almost unrecognizable.

if hes 300 ronnie is 400lbs and gunter was 450 and kovakas 900

he dont eat that much and he dont spend 2hrs a day in a gym on avg

LOL @ you, son.

You think Jay holds dumbbells in his hands when he steps on scale? You idiot. We have seen many times him stepping on scale in videos and readings were approximately 300 lbs. Clothes on but they don't weigh much. For you, let's say ok he weighs about 295 without clothes and with less fat in his body than you can ever dream. Happy?

I don't know.

These morons believe with bright eyes that some twink Phelps consumes 100 000 000 calories a day but not that 300 pound muscle monster eats 7000 a day..  ::)

Huh. There is no logic. SOme here just argue about everything said about pros LOL
Yes, there is lot to criticize but still... it must hurt to some to realize they never will grow significant muscle mass themselves no matter what...

Now this one moron above claimed Jay is not weighing about 300 pounds  :D MORONMORONMORONMORON  ;D

Where's the problem, the average american eats 7000 calories a day.

With all that HGH, roids, T3, ECA, Clen, DNP he surely can eat that much.

Probably supplements with this as well:

Serving Size5Scoops(approx. 635gm)
Servings Per Container~3
Calories   2600
Protein   184GM
Carbohydrates   391GM
Medium Chain Triglycerides (MCT)   46GM
Fat   0GM

Directions For Vitol Russian Bear 5000 Weight Gainer: As a dietary food supplement, mix one serving together with one gallon of whole milk and drink throughout the day.

That's how I see it too.

There's nothing wrong with using some gear and eating a healthy high-protien diet. But the force feeding and the megadosing is some fucked up shit.

Michael Phelps eat 10,000 calories per day, but he's burning up those cals. These bodybuilders just eat like that and sit around getting bloated.

Yeh he's burning up those calories from swimming (highly doubt it's 10,000 anyway) and he's on a shitload of GH and gear too.

this.

But no way he eats that much, he doesn't have the time for it as he is training all day.

10,000 is ridiculous, maybe 1 day he might have done that if he'd been training a week straight and had a day off.

But if he ate 6 times a day at 2,000 cals or so a time it would take hours to digest and he would never do anything else let alone swim.

Phelps said he ate approximately 12,000 calories per day during the 2008 Summer Olympics.

This included a breakfast of three fried egg sandwiches, a five-egg omelet, three pieces of French toast, three pancakes and grits. Lunch was typically a pound of pasta and two sandwiches. For dinner, he would eat an entire large pizza and a pound of pasta... basically whatever crap he could get ahold of.

He weighed 165 lbs.

Just how many calories do you think it takes to swim? Even if you could swim all day, could you do it with a stomach full of food?

Competitive swimmers can only race well on an empty stomach, otherwise they get exactly the same results as a long distance runner gets : The shits.

You would get such a fucking nasty stomach ache along with some nasty cramping if you tried to eat that much and swim. Phelps would have been shitting all day long.

I do believe that at times (when he was stoned) he would put down a ton of junk food calories. I doubt very much that he could have accurately counted them and I also doubt that he did this very often.

Do the math on that many calories vs. the metabolism of a guy that weighs 165. Even if he burned 750 an hour (swimming "butterfly")-- how long do you think he could keep it going?

Been there, did that. It's all bullshit.

No, I wasn't an Olympic Swimmer (obviously)- but I swam Far Western and 10 best cut-off right along side them for many years. All I did was swim Butterfly and Freestyle. My times were nothing to laugh at, after all, we are only talking milliseconds that separate the men from the boys here.

Even if Jay Cutler tried to eat that much every day he would just get sick. Real sick.

Hardly!!

Again, my diet is arond 3000-3500 calories and 270-300 grams or protein. On average, it's something like this:

Morning shake - 120 calories; 24 grams protein
Breakfast - 400 calories; 35-40 grams protein
Weight Gainer (Mass Fuel Extreme) - 600 calories; 50 grams protein
Lunch - 500 calories; 40 grams protein
Weight Gainer (Mass Fuel Extreme) - 600 calories; 50 grams protein
Post workout shake (Designer whey & Gatorade) - 350 calories; 30 grams protein
Dinner - 450 calories; 40 grams protein
Nighttime snack - 100 calories; 20 grams protein

Total (approximately) - 3,120 calories; 294 grams of protein.

And, I'm nowhere near a pro bodybuilder (or even a top NPC amateur). Yet, we're supposed to think that Jay Cutler can't possibly down much more than that. Also, I'm in my late 30s now; 15 years ago, I could eat considerably more than this.

I don't think that's supposed to be consumed at one shot. It does say "drink throughout the day".

From the looks of this, you should divide this into three servings. That would yield approximately 867 calories, 61 grams of protein, 130 grams of carbs, and 15 grams of MCTs per serving.

carbs are amino acids asshole

You've got to be kidding? Carbs are broken down into glucose to be used as energy. Protein is broken down into amino acids.

I'm surprised at you Falcon man. This is pretty elementary stuff.

Amino acids are the building blocks of protein. Amino acids join together and form short chains (peptides) or much longer chains (polypeptides). Over 80 amino acids are known to occur naturally, with 20 found commonly in protein polypeptides.

Swimming does not burn THAT many calories off. There are much harder sports which wouldn't require near 5,000 calories a day.

I remember hearing some female radio personality describe Phelps body as 'unreal'. Makes you wonder what she's been used to.......
