Meso_z comes up with a good thought. Heavy BB row's (usually a row and partial DL combo..very popular with stronger men) will work the hams/butt and lower back quite well. And of course the pulling muscles of the actual row. Most experience guy's are doing this version rather than a stricter form of rows. You do hit the traps, though nothing like regular DL's. So perhaps adding a few sets of shrugs/cleans/hi-pulls can fix that.
Been told that a curl grip (underhand), with the pull to the lower abs, seems to hit the lat's themselves better. A much wider grip, pull to the chest, will hit the upper back and rear delts very well. As dj181's inquiring mind ask, most can handle well above 300 and 400+ is not out of the question for a few others. That's the half BB row, half partial DL I speak of. Heard of some approaching the 500 mark. Good Luck.
