What's your max dumbbell press
Mine
160 10 reps flat
Could go heavier but that's the heaviest dumbbell in my gym

I think exactly the same. I'm almost always doing one exercise with barbell but when I'm LAZY I do another exercise with barbell or on a machine instead of the dumbbells... LOL!  ;D

I think initially the barbell press is good but after you put on good muscular size
It becomes dangerous for the shoulders... I only bench ocassionally

Brutal 88 pounders for 12 currently  8)  - of course could do more but next dumbbells at my gym are 132 lbs  :'(
(past is past and deserves no bragging  ;D )

Epic thing is I hammer curl same dumbbells I press  :-[

The best I ever did was 110lbs for 5 but I am way below that now. I was an eating machine back then and all I did was eat and train.

171 or 172 or something ridiculous I think.  All the dumbells are in pounds, but when he made them up a lot of the poundages were slightly out, so there's 88, 93 etc all over the place. 

Can't you  get the owner to get some new ones?

So why do u feel benching is dangerous for shoulders?
How often do u bench?

both hormonized,,one lie about it ...jamaican boy,,other honest about it...hungarian boy

in any case mine is 200lb for reps ,,but you will learn that at the end of the day it doesnt matter barbell,,dumbell,, smith,,hammer,, if the chest is geneticaqly strong it will blow up thicken and get fuller no matter what you do as long as apply resistant training with heavy weight respectivly to what you yourself need

Ive asked him ...always say he will but ... never does

I used to love benching I  was quite fixated on getting a big bench
i used hate db presses because I couldn't go as heavy as i could with bench
but  love a challenge so i kept at db presses
as you get bigger I find bench is for your shoulders.
i do them probably once every 4 months
right now Im trying to master another chest exersise i used to hate incline barbell presses
so my chest routine yesterday looked like this

incline barbell presses 135 2 sets 20 reps
225 - 10 -12 reps
315 - 6- 8 reps

flat dumbell presses
110 - 15 reps
130 12 reps
160 - 8 reps

then machine presses and flyes
moderate session Im learning now not to go all out EVERY session

150x15 I've hit 200x6 before back in west Texas, but gym now only has the 150lbs. I'd like to feel the 200s again see if I can hit 8+
