I weight anywhere from 200lb-210lb and am natural and have never been able to hit 315lb for 10 on bench :(


....never tried 300lb....maybe and thats a big maybe I could if I worked at it.

max 90 pounds each arm/shoulder 3 sets of 10, and i'm old! LOL! and of course natural, don't know if that is that heavy of a weight, but it sure felt like it! of course, that was a few years ago, now that i'm even older, i do fine with very slow and very good form 65 pounds of 3 x10. i could probably push it meaning go heavier, but i don't want to risk another rotator cuff problem that i had awhile back, and so now i'm doing the " it's not how much you lift, it's how you lift it" mantra.

even now i never do a chest or shoulder workout without stretching an doing light 5 pound rotator cuff exercises for a good 10 minutes,plus light sets of the actual exercises i'll be doing before i actually start the actual workout.

Awesome job, obviously trains for powerlifting by his set up. His BW.....looks to be quite tall, but it's hard to tell.

This seems to be the thinking at Getbig.........They love this loser mentality. 6 Billion people and no ones gonna be exceptional if they arent.  I just dont get that.   Even will grant is implying this...that a drug user has to be stronger than natural born leveraged lifter.

Yes - I would beleive him if he doesnt claim near contest level bf percentages and his weight - if he was bulked with lots of "padding" in the high teens - low 20s in bf % then yeah I'd have no issues beleiving it - he has good genetics for strengh but he is assisted.

Look at it this way - "if" he is natural (which he is not) then if he jumped on the juice he would make Ronnie look like his bitch , you see how stupid this is ? a guy with far surperior genes than mes who out weighs him by 100 odd pounds is or was on lots of drugs yet mes is claiming he is natural - come on - there are some thick as pig shit on this board.

160 for a hard 3
3 years later 160 for 7 or 8 reps...

If someone like meso claims some pretty impressive lifts as a natural trainer, I don't call BS automatically.  I've been in the gym on/off for the past 23 years, and I've seen first-hand some pretty freaky lifts from guys that you wouldn't expect based on their size.

Myself, I'm a lifetime natural trainer.  At 5' 10.5" and currently around 295 lbs with about 18% bodyfat, my lifts are not that impressive based on my stats on paper.  In fact, I don't look like a 295 pounder in my opinion.  I think I appear to be 265 or so.  My best lifts are only 135 lbs decline DB presses for 8 reps, 140 lbs DB incline presses for 7 reps, and 110 lbs DB shoulder presses for 8 reps.  Again, not very impressive based on my on-paper stats, but I'm happy with them so far as I keep my form pretty good on them (I try to mimic Dorian's exercise form and rep speed; I think they work best for me and keep me relatively injury free).  I can look my kids in their eyes and tell them that I have never ever taken drugs (for bodybuilding or recreational) if they ever ask me, which I am proud of.

Meso states that in 3 years he increased his reps on a particular exercise using the same weight from 3 reps to about 6 or 7.  This sounds about right.  Why automatically BS?  Maybe he's telling the truth, and that his genetics are just that good.

Mes is probably the smalles kid in the gym, then BOOM, blows up on steroids, but still has to claim natural because otherwise he'd be insecure again.

Hey Sev, I can't blame you for calling BS on me.  You're just going off of your own personal experience of years of lifting weights, your own genetic limitations, and your efforts to make the most of those genetics.  That is your reality, which is fine.  But to say that there's no way that others would be able to exceed what you were able to accomplish naturally in regards to strength, muscle size, and bodyweight is very closed-minded in my humble opinion.

Back in 1988 during my first couple of years of hitting the weights and reading about Haney and Gaspari and the poundages they would use in their workouts, if someone was to tell me that a decade in the future some guy named Ronnie Coleman would be toying around with 200 lbs. dumbells on the flat bench with reps in the double digits, I'd call BS on him too.
