Having friends is not a bad thing .. but when you are involved with someone it should be a mutual decision on what they entail

Open relationships aren't always happy ones ... and if you have satisfying sex with one person I don't see a reason to look elsewhere for "more"  ... there's no such thing as Free Love .. there is free sex available .. but love always has a price ..  unnatural is in perception .. what some see as normal others may not

I live in upstate NY and I'm not married  ..

Because people are naturally polygamous. Just because you love someone, that doesn't mean you won't be attracted to other people too.

Monogamous relationships CAN work. But go against human biology. Remove the jealousy from the relationship and it'll go a lot better.

If I go to upstate NY i'll show you what free love is all about.  ;)

That is where we differ ... if I am attracted to someone I will remain monogamous and don't get attracted to someone else at all .. it's being satisfied that does that .. when I am not in a relationship then I can find others very attractive .. I don't do meaningless or wham bam thank you ma'am episodes .. I had enough of that when I was in my 20's

I don't necessarily see jealousy as a problem per se as much as I see disrespect as a problem ... if you truly care about someone why would you want to direspect them for some sexual attraction .?. and why be with someone if they cannot satisfy you .?.

I totally understand a lot of men see things differently .. I just don't see "myself" as needing to go out and hop about like a rabbit in heat trying out anything and everything that looks good

My brain is my biggest and most important sexual organ .. unless I am "attracted' mentally .. the packaging doesn't even register

That's all because you are a woman. Women are naturally more monogamous and their body cheistry is very different.

But with men. Forget about it. Men are NOT meant to be monogamous. We need to have lots and lots and lots of hot sex to stay satisfied. After having sex with the same woman every day for 2 years you naturally start to wanna try something else for a change.

I agree about mental attraction, it's important. But it's totally possible to be mentally attracted and in love with more than one person. I seen it happen hundreds of times.

we're not staying on topic .. it's about platonic friendships being possible .. lol

but to address your post I'm not a believer of  "trying" something else after 2 years of the same means you need something "new" .. keeping things fresh and interesting is part of the growth and connection you should share with your partner .. creating illusion and role playing is not boring .. flirting shouldn't disappear because you live together .. trips etc. .. all that can help .. I see no reason to be looking for more when you've chosen someone unless there are other "things" .. not just boredom of the sex you have

Not if they are hot. Then you can't help but want to fuck them. Unless you're gay.

This topic has been done to death. There was even a movie made about it: "When Harry Met Sally."

The result is always the same. Men, excepts for gay and wussies, don't believe it's possible, and women do. The former realize that they'll eventually get horny want to fvck the woman. The latter believe that they'd be just as interesting to men without the possibility of a sex payoff. LMAO.

Most of my best friends are females.

One has been my friend for 12 years. One has been my friend for 8 years.

She's not, Disturbia talked to her on Skype and sent him a photo as well which he wasn't supposed to post but did anyway. Sev is just being Sev. Best to ignore everything he posts.
