Huge banner above the show. Big muscles were featured but most of the exhibits had nothing to do with bodybuilding.

There weren't many equipment companies with space here. These expos don't compare to those in America or Europe.

vince if i say i am from getbig, could i get a discount gym membership?

I was at filex (aus fitness expo) were you even allowed to try the equipment there? I didnt ask, because i had no intention of buying it, nor could i afford it

Being from Getbig will usually get someone a black eye! If I know you then that is different. Getbiggers hold no currency at my gym. They are welcome to ride around with me in my white van.

Of course you can try the equipment at these trade shows. The angle you have is that if you like certain pieces or a brand you can mention it to the gym owner where you go. The machines are there as demonstrators and you can try them out or ask for assistance. I always have a go at using some of them. A good way to have a quick workout.

Here is a photo of people using the equipment. Not that many actually tried the equipment which is a pity.

brutal line midday on saturday to that expo... 30 min wait. They need to add another hall to it, have the aerobics zumba crap in one hall and bodybuilding, weightlifting in the other

Was pretty funny, pouring raining on sat, yet people wearing tank tops, some even taking off there shirts revealing a tank top underneath

I wouldn't pay to see this Expo but a lot of people did. I guess there are a lot of people in Sydney who exercise or who want something to do on weekends. I was lucky and went to the short line of people with complimentary admittance. Quite the young crowd at these events. All manner of fitness and alternative booths that I am not at all interested in. Same goes for the seminars given during the event. Most cater to all the 'fitness' gimmicks and such nonsense. There seems to be no end of knuckleheads lining up to learn that crap.
