The Milk Diet
« on: May 03, 2011, 07:58:45 PM »
If you want to pack on muscular bulk, then the Milk Diet is an invaluable tool.  Everyday, drink a gallon of WHOLE MILK.  Start in the morning by drinking a pint after your breakfast, midmorning another pint.   A pint with lunch, early afternoon another pint.  Keep it going all day everyday.  Continue with your three whole body per week workouts.  I have just given the recipe for a Mr. Universe physique.  When the steroids creeps try to push their crapola on you, punch them right in the mouth and tell 'em Lex sent you.

I went through a phase of drinking 2/3 gallon per day.

Looked and felt like garbage. Holding water 24/7 and adding fat by the day.

Vascularity disappeared. Milk in large quantities is a disaster

They call this "GOMAD" (gallon of milk a day).  Look up the various threads on other boards about Rippetoe and his subject Zach Evetts.  It's very stupid and makes you fat.  If you want to get stronger, it's fine.  If you want a better body, don't bother.

Nutrient timing is very crucial and some bodybuilders can fit milk into their daily meal plan.  To have success with nutrient timing one has to understand one's body and what it craves or needs and at what times.  Lactose free milk can also make a difference in a bodybuilders diet.  It all boils down to how well you know your body and what it exactly needs and at what time.
