looper - started off alright/interesting, then it just got boring, and gordon-levits cgi face was distracting mind you, it's at 94% fresh on rt so it can't be that bad. i did find levitt/bruce characters refreshingly unsympathetic though ! silent night - i kept nodding off during this santa slasher movie. sadly, the bits i did manage to see, leave me with no desire to try and watch it all again. airplane! (1980) - was on one of the hd channels last night (channel 4), the picture looked fantastic and the cheesey jokes still made me lol

house at the end of the street - haha, i forgot to mention this awful turd of a film. i'm sure the director was just taking the piss here. eye candy in the form of shue and lawrence was scant consolation for this piece of shit

seedpeople - a fun b-movie with crappy acting but decent monster effects. pretty much a ripoff of the body snatchers, as mutant seeds from space possess humans and try and take over a small town.

Did that finally come out? I bought Pt 1 due to my long standing love with the comic book industry.

Pandorum (2009) 3.5/5
Solid Sci-fi, Horror Alien Rip-off with Dennis Quaid
The Giant Mechanical Man (2012) 4/5
Ligtweight Romantic comedy with subtle humor. Very easy to watch. Currently on Netflix
DeadGirl (2008) 3/5
Slow paced Horror/Thriller with a creepy story.
I Saw the Devil (2010) 3.5/5
Korean revenge movie similiar to Oldboy. Over the top gore.A little too long.
Human Centipede 2 (2011) 0/5
Incredibly slow paced, shot in black and white. Not an ounce of suspense. Awfully bad. Even the gore sucked.
Shaun of the Dead (2004) 4.5/5
Hilarious. Leagues above Zombieland and other average "Zomcoms"
Before the Devil Knows You're Dead (2007) 4/5
Solid family/Crime Drama with Philip Seymour Hoffman and Ethan Hawke.
Brooklyn's Finest (2009) 3.5/5
From the director of Training Day. Intertwining stories of cops and criminals. Good but not great.
Hobo with a Shotgun (2011) 4/5 "Nu-Grindhouse/Exploitation. Loved it. Great dialogue, stupid fun with some good gore.
