no chance. it'd tear my face to shreds.
tried one a couple of years back. it was like trying to shave with a broken bottle... the agony
If you have those kinds of problems, you may want to consider using a better prep.
While it's a few extra steps, it’s hard to beat the mug & cup system like seen above.
I use the shaving soap that comes in puck form.
Our Beauty/Barber supply place sells a mug with a recessed bottom that is a perfect fit for the soap.
The mug is also made of a vinyl or resin so it won’t break when you drop it.
I have a badger hair brush for lathering.
Boar’s hair is the best, but a lot more expensive.
Anyway, the hot lather and bristles soften, exfoliate, and stand those bristles away from the skin.
If you really want to get traditional, apply a towel soaked in hot water to your beard for a few minutes before shaving.
It can be a pain in the ass to do all this stuff - especially if it's new to you, but it does provide a much more comfortable shave with a lot less irritation, regardless of the blade you use.
