I would like to see Banuelos succeed because I've been watching him ever since he started.  Casey Kelly from Boston was getting all this ridiculous hype, yet Banuelos' stats were a little better, if I remember correctly, but he received no attention.  Now the tables have turned completely.

I don't have high hopes for Betances or Brackman.  I think Montero is the real deal, but has nothing left to prove at AAA.

That said, I would have traded any of them to get a Cliff Lee or potential ace.  Prospects are always just prospects, and if they can be flipped for elite MLB level talent, you do it every time.

Speaking of cliff lee I'm thinking texas got the shit end of that deal. Justin Smoak for - what turned out to be nothing more than some playoff/ws exp for their team and a little notoriety.

It was only one B.  They balked when they thought Adams' ankle injury was too severe.

Maybe not, but Fernando Tatis once hit two grand slams in the same INNING.

I bet that one stands unmatched longer than the three grand slams.

Montero is the real deal.  Nothing is guaranteed, but he's considered the best Yankee hitting prospect in 15 years.

So...a month ago, the playoff teams in baseball seemed to be all set.  NY/Bos were listed at 99.7% and 99.8% playoff probability, and Atlanta had the WC locked up.

Now it's not so cut and dry.  Bos is still at 96.3%, but the Tampa is at least making it interesting. Still unlikely that they get in, but it's making it fun to follow.

They can be beat.  Atlanta could give them a run in the NL, and the AL teams have a shot too.

Not taking away from them.  Just that their bullpen is weak, and when the face the AL, if NY or Bos get there, their pitchers may have a harder time going late into games.
