Rep. Anthony Weiner's Queens and Brooklyn constituents sounded off on his shocking sexting admissions Monday - with some calling for his political head.
Several said they could never support Weiner after he admitted to exchanging sexually explicit messages and pictures with six women - and lying about it.
"I think he should be barred out of politics. He's disgusting and a pervert," said Ronnie Homan, 50, of Borough Park, Brooklyn.
Maya Goldstein, 44, of Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn, agreed, and said the congressman's teary TV breakdown shows he needs help.

And i can point out a person that dosent think he should go.. so what...
It is sad, but in the end it is up to his constiuents. We know Vitters constiuents voted for him despite his moral lapse.
Sexual predator? These women were of legal age following him on twitter and willingly engaging in sexual conversations with him. Wrong because he was married-yes. However-to compare him to a true sexual predator who either forces women into sex or preys on children is a sick mistake. It is also wrong to compare him to Clinton. Clinton actually had sex with other women. Weiner never met these women-all interaction took place online. McGreevey gave his partner a government job-not the case here.
We need to put this into perspective and stop comparing this to other scandals. Everyone involved was an adult and willing participant. No one was coerced into doing anything they did not want to. No one was given a job or any government benefits for this. no goverment funds or resources were used. No one even touched anyone else. What he did to his wife was wrong-but not really any of my business.
What he did wrong to his constituents and what is our business was lie. If he broke no laws-it should be up to the voters to decide-and yes, they may agree with his policies and the bills on which he votes (you know-the actual issues) and choose to keep him in.Resign? Three words: Senator David Vitter. I would only care about that behavior if it got into the way of a Congressman's duties. I don't care which party the guy is from from. I'm really sick of all the moralizing this country does over it's elected officials. The general population doesn't have to live up to that standard. Quit being hypocrites.
Remember, if it weren't for stuff like this there would be no country music.I've lost count of the # of representatives/senators/others in office who've strayed in one way or another over the past few years. I've also grown tired of the "witch-hunt" expeditions that we, quite apparently, are PAYING for in one way or another.
Thought: Maybe it's time Americans get real about human beings, their imperfect nature and the fact that there is NOTHING anyone can to legislate or, worse, dictate morality. Try as you may and expect what you are inclined to expect, but these elected officials are nothing more than mere human beings with all the faults & foibles we all share. The REAL issue for them is one of power, privilege and opportunity. It seems more than apparent that a number of elected officials of the male persuasion, for whatever reason, seem to have a problem controlling their sexual inclinations and associated behaviors. Isn't it about time that we set aside fantasies of long-forgotten and long-lost "values" that no one has been able to live up to since the first human walked this earth? If it isn't "criminal", then what in the world are we worried about? If they are lacking in self-control in terms of what they do with their bodies and their marriages, as the case may be, let them eat cake and reap what they sow as LONG as they are doing their job(s) on Capitol Hill, that is. If it is a matter of a private nature and doesn't impact anyone other than their wives, husbands & families, Karma will eventually serve up its just desserts. . it always does!
As American citizens, we have the right to unseat anyone we choose via the electoral process. If you don't like the serial cheater you voted for in the last election, simply cast your vote for the next, new and unimproved, mere mortal that WILL fall short of your personal moral compass at some point in the future in some way, shape or form. THEN we start right back at "Go" and do it ALL over again.
George Washington had a mistress(s), ya know? Benjamin Franklin was nothing short of a rabid dog chasing women all over Paris, ya know? God KNOWS what skeletons are in Jefferson's & Jackson's closets, ya know? How long are we going to continue to beat this dead horse of an issue to freakin' death?
