He was a good bodybuilder. But there have been dozens of guys who are better than him in the past few decades.

 For his time, Arnold was good. But in the big picture he is not that great. He's got weak points and his conditioning wasn't that great.

 Overrated. If he had a shit personality like most bodybuilders then he wouldn't be considered nearly as great.

Arnold just popped. He just jumped off the page. Ronnie was twice his size and just barely managed to do the same. Dorian had one photo shoot where he came close. The famous black and white photo spread before he reclaimed the Olympia.

There is only one Arnold. he has that "it" factor. No one knows what that is.

But if we put Bodybuilders in historical BODYBUILDING significance then is :

1- Lee Haney (won 8 straight Mr.O) Did guess posing always in shape ,had a Bodybuilding tv show on mainstream tv ESPN. while being the champ..always humble, always smiling.always respecting the competitors/competition .

2- Arnold  won 7 mr.O tittles : (won in 1971 unopposed)  (Controversial in 72,some say Sergio should have won )
(1980 is the stain on his BB carrer to this day) mind games, bending the rules not following mandatory poses on stage,disrespectful  to competitors,  etc etc....


 by his own words he used BB just as stepping stone to move into bigger and better things.

Worst way to promote the sport/hobby etc .
