Yes, he did occaisonally speak truth, but the majority of it was just ego.

I don't see that from that pic.  Plus I said from his prime, I know he used all that shit later in his career.  My point was that guys like Levrone, and Flex had mass, but also retained thier shape.  Yates was huge but blocky, just like Jay is today.

Shawn was a Great BBer back in the day, however like the rest of the Top Level Competition back then, The advantages Yates STILL had on the Competition (even while holding a little water retention and the Newly Torned Bicep in 1994) are More dramatic watching the DVD than seeing a bunch of Pictures.

yes I agree with you on this..and I think him being good-looking along with his ego and out-spokeness is the reason he never won...Shawn would beat everyone today including the refrigerator

people get too caught up on how "big" someone is.  Sure paul dillet' or nasser would dwarf sean ray on stage, that doesn't mean they are more complete, or are better bodybuilders.

Lee Labrada could have been just a little taller. Being so short almost makes them look like midgets, especially with 4 x 4 heads.
