in a sport where fighters are limited to strikes, it makes sense that a guy with longer reach would have an advantage. Maybe this is news to some ???

he did everything wrong for a tall man there. looks more skinny and weak there than the new video aswell. a tall man mma shouldve used his weight to his advantage and pushed the smaller guy around like in his new video where he had more weight. but the tall man had no size too skinny to fight down on his opponent instead he kept backing away he was definitly outclassed.

a tall skinny man will get the shit beat out of him. better to be tall muscular and carry some fat too to weight on your opponent

however overeem being steroid huge and ripped is unrealistic and one of a kind. no use in striving to look like him especially naturally, better off being big tall muscle and some bodyfat will help but not to the extrem fat

tim silvia was leanin all foward like he wanted to get what and idiot. shouldve stood strait up and leaned back a little , inviting fedor to get inside or invite him for a take down, then all silvia would have to do is drop  some elbows or punch  down or push down his opponent

Your point? Most of the damage seem to come from knees and strikes from close range. It's not like he sat outside the guy's reach and picked him apart.

Also, not sure that qualifies as a savage beating by any means...
