personally i see CC as a bunch of flaws from the waist down and also lacking depth when facing away from the judges.

he doesnt have the thickness to me except for pecs and arms, which are great no doubt.

calves and quads have always looked spindly and without the granite thickness you expect and when at the rear double bi pose his lats playa  long way second fiddle to his traps...

To make those comments about Cormiers physique you probaly need to see an optompertist.
How many competitions has Cormier won 11 contests.
Who has he beat Flex,S Ray,Coleman in the early days,Levrone,and many others Preist has never beat in competition.
I am Australian and a fan of Preist but there is no way a 90% Cormier loses to Preist.
Cormier simply gave his opinion and i am in total agreement with him.
Simple as that.
PS Out of 70 Contests entered he has finished in the top 3 , 40 times.

Why does Chris Cormier get so much shit? He is one of the greatest bodybuilders of all time, sure he does come off as bitter, I'm sure a lot of people would be bitter also if they kept getting fucked up the ass at a show like the Arnold. I feel Chris should be a 3 or 4 time Arnold Classic champ by now.

1999 ASC - He was third that was bullshit he was better than both EL Sonbaty and Levrone that year, and the fact that he beat them at that years Mr. O proves that.

2000 ASC- Second to Flex Wheeler Chris should have won this show hands down.

2001 ASC- Ronnie was just too Dominating.

2002 ASC - Flip a coin between Chris and Jay but I can see how Jay won, even though I would have went with Chris.

2003 ASC- Chris was way off for this one, got a gift with 2nd.

2004 ASC - Hands down Chris should have won this show, he got fucked royally.

2005 ASC - Toss up between him and Dexter, but I would have given it to Chris, he has the better overall package, but Dexter is awesome.


If he can come in 100% then Chris will beat Jay and have a showdown with Ronnie Coleman, period point blank.  Chris is too complete and too good of a bodybuilder to not be at least 2nd at the "O" this year.

Actually Eugene most people have been quite kind to Chris in terms of not bashing the guy when he has been running his mouth but he continues to write this shit and is slowly ostracising himself from the fans and his fellow competitors.  Every time he says this crap he doesn't gain anything, rather many more people decide he's a dick.

Chris is a great bodybuilder.  One of the best of all time.  However, he just needs to stop attacking people and show up in shape.  Yeah you can get mad about your placings, but its totally unprofessional to attack someone who actually busts their balls in the gym and shows up in shape.  Get mad at the judges for your placings and get mad at yourself for not going that extra mile with your conditioning.  Now show up at the O in the best condition of your life and let the chips fall where they may.

yup, ya beat me to it. Ronnie has by far the best overall arms in the biz.  That has been true for many years now.

By the way I think Cormier is right to make those comments, I've had a complete 180 degree change of mind.

You see if you lose you should always complain about the guy who beat you - even if he's made no comments about you whatsoever.  That way you win!  Hey, no money or placing to show for it.. pwn them in a reputable magazine!  Chris clearly knows how to pwn and I think we should all stop hating on him and take him for the serious, intelligent and rational man he clearly is.

Placings in ifbb competions are never consistent you could win one week and lose the next, just think dex beats cormier, a week or two later cormier beats dex then like a week later priest beat cormier. in my opion dex could have beaten priest if he was in the Aus. grand prix but like in all the shows except the olympia you never know who is goin to win. About what cormier said, well just think of the things they (all pros) say bout each other thats not in the mags good or bad...
