Greg is 6'2 and I would say he is at least 300. He may not be as lean as some of the competitors but in terms of the volume of space he occupies, he is a big dude and bigger than most in the OSM I would say. Next to Ron Partlow, Greg didn't exactly look like a small guy and Ron is huge. Are you thinking of the North America's Strongest Man contest on Saturday? I didn't watch it and those guys were probably bigger than the OSM guys.
Back to Species, I could definitely see girls working at the booth for free or for cheap because they are eager to get exposure from a name in the industry like Dave. I could also see Species do their best to keep costs down. I can only base my guess about Species on what I've heard here and there from people in the industry and from their presence at contests. They could fail for all I know and the market is saturated but I think they have taken an aggressive and consistent marketing approach so we'll see where that goes.
What was John Romano talking about when he said it cost 250K for VPX to set up their booth? Were they donating a car as a prize or something or did John mean 25K or did he just get his facts wrong?
