To think size and strength does not hugely aid a person engaging in altercation is pure and simply nonsense. Sure, these attributes don't suggest one specifically has fighting skill, but an individual with superior size and strength has a lot in his arsenal.
Let's call it as it is. A wimp's a wimp, no matter how big or small or strong or weak he might be.
If you're a non-wimp carrying over 250 pounds of relative muscular bodyweight and have functional strenth and power (and let's face it, most men like this who built their bodies entirely-or-mostly without drugs are not wimps), would decimate, as was said, 99.9 percent of males on the planet.
And I don't care who you are, if some MMA "champion" weighing less than 220 confronts a top-flight strength athlete towards 300 or more, he is gonna have his ass handed to him.
If you're 300 pounds, muscular, and have some fighting skill/experience, you're a wrecking machine, without doubt.
I do agree, thought, that MMA has usurped bodybuilding as the go-to physical activity of young, impressionable and scared young men.
