I used to do night shifts.. it's a Bastard. I would typically do pull ups...Dips(parallel bar because i have a free standing chin/dip station and that was it...

Most might be surprise how much these short programs can increase strength and size. If their approached with serious intent and not just run through with lighter weight.  Success can even come with as little a 4 to 6 sets per muscle group, while using compound exercises.

Common mistake most make, when gains are at a standstill ,is becoming desperate and adding more exercises, sets or training days. When they should take a week, or so off training, and begin to do short and to  the point workouts. In this case, less is better. Good Luck.

the best quickies are trap exercises, dips, and push ups...dips and push ups end up being a a work out---once you get that chest pump (push ups0, you want to do more...once you burn out 30 reps  with bench dips, you want to 3-4 more sets of 30.

Try the 5/3/1 program if you're pressed for time in the gym, it's great and you hardly ever spend more than an hour on a workout.  Progress is sort of slow (add 5-10 pounds to your maxes every 3-4 weeks) but very steady.

Clean & press. Great mass builder. BB'ing reps and sets. Weight need not be huge. Good Luck.
