first off, that's not what is happening.  what's happening is the text are supposed to include sexual orientation of historical figures.  I don't know that is really needed and believe it over kill.

Second, Kids learn about all that stuff any way with or with out school.

Ehh,  I think not.  Nothing wrong with learning about someone who help champion gay rights.

They want to collapse the nation.  There is no doubt in my mind.   until the entire nation looks like Detroit or South Bronx, these far left pieces of fucking garbage will not be happy.

Public schools in California will be required to teach students about the contributions of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender Americans starting Jan. 1 after Gov. Jerry Brown on Thursday signed a controversial bill to add the topic to the social sciences curriculum.

Textbooks now must include information on the role of LGBT Americans, as well as Americans with disabilities, though California's budget crisis has delayed the purchasing of new books until at least 2015.

Serious question:  What significant historical contributions have bisexual and transgender Americans made?

All the idiots on the left must be scrambling to find a passage in a textbook, however small it is, that implies religious affiliation of any historical figure.

Good point. But, I am afraid it will be avoided by the liberal fags.

I think they should also make sure to include all the contributions to society by non LGBT.  I also think we need special white history lessons to go along with all the special black history units.  ::)

Why do kids need to know if a certain historical figure is gay?

Are textbooks now going to point out all the other heterosexual historical figures? Are they going to have the words straight and gay in bold  under their pictures or after their names? If that's the case, why not include their religious beliefs?

One more thing. Why is the Civil Rights movement of the 60s compared to the homos' struggle for acceptance of their sexual behavior? Fags are not a race.

I'm sure that Thomas Jefferson's christian beliefs and the fact he made up his own version of the bible ( by cutting out parts he disagreed with ) is going to be mentioned.

Its suspected by many that he was a homosexual.  Not that it matters, which is why i don't know this is such a good law.

I think it's a terrible law.

I suspect that to the extent people who practiced the GLBT lifestyle made significant historical contributions, the vast majority were in the closet, so we won't know who the heck they were anyway.
