As many of you know in 2009 I began my first full blown cycle in well over a year. For a little over a year I kind of backed off things, was busy with some new projects I had in my life and while I still trained and ate fairly well the whole thing took a bit of a back seat so to speak. In Oct. of 2009 I decided it was time to take another go of things, for the past yr I had been running 200mg of test every 7-10 days but that was it, this would be the first full blown cycle in a long time and it was:
Anabol: 50mg/ed
Testoviron: 250mg/ed
Tren-a: 100mg/ed
I had also had 10 kits of Serostim on the way that had not arrived yet. I had been on the above for a little over 4wks and felt fantastic, I felt at this point I could finally do some real damage as I had reached a point to where I finally understood how my body reacted positively and negatively to certain foods, how best to conjoin my gear with my training and diet. Needless to say this was only a short lived cycle because of the events that would soon transpire and I was forced to discontinue everything instantly.
The first 4-5 weeks I was fine but at around week 6 I started to crash and by wk 8 it was very noticeable. My energy levels were gone, I was tired constantly like a 90 yr old man who needs multiple naps throughout the day. I got sick, very sick and it took weeks to get over it and this would happen several times over the course of the next year. I would get the flu and it would takes weeks to recover from and then a few weeks later I'd get it again. My sex drive was now almost non-existent, it would come back in small spurts every now and then but for the most part it was gone. Of course the stress of what I was dealing with played a large role in this too but the hormone crash was the number one culprit. Needless to say I watched as my physique lost muscle at a rapid rate and the fat gain that came along with it was not a pretty one.
In April of 2011 I finally started seeing a hormone specialist, when they checked my levels my total test was 63, not too surprising but for those that don't know most men over the age of 50 produce more than that and I'm 32. My LH was fine and my IGF-1 was a little low, as well as my estrogen production and that one was a little surprising, I thought my estro levels would have been a little higher. I asked the doctor if he thought my extreme low levels were do to 10 years of heavy hormone use and he said that probably played a part but the biggest thing was having to stop such a large cycle so abruptly, he likened it to running real fast, you're going along just fine and then you run straight into a brick wall...it's going to hurt and it's going to do some serious damage.
He wrote me a script for Testosterone-Cypionate 200mg per wk and I have been on that for about 10 weeks now and I have to say I feel fantastic, I actually feel like myself again. For a year I had gotten really depressed, the combination of losing the only woman I had ever loved who I was set to marry and with the trouble I got into it all only enhanced the hormonal problems...it was the hardest year of my life without question.
Things are looking better, slowly but surely the fat has been coming off, some muscles that I haven't seen pop in a while are starting to take form again. Sure, I'd love it if it were faster but my body took a beating for a long time and the process is simply going to require a bit of patience. Will I ever really cycle again, a good full blown cycle? Well it should come as no surprise, I sure would like to; after all, once you've tasted steak eating dirt is never quite as satisfying. However, right now it's simply not worth it, the risk is too great but you better believe I miss it. The truth is simple, you can train and eat perfectly but hormones are everything, yes you can make good progress without but you cannot regardless of now genetically gifted you are do anything all that special without them and this goes for bodybuilding and just about any major sporting pursuit you can think of.
So that's my story as of today. Hope you enjoyed.
lol,,2009 ...nice year,,,i call it the year of the syntrax ,,,was a very very good year because that mother fucker loaded every vial with the best hormone possible delivered from nordic hands,, that was some serious serious year ,,,but to your case....
when you take hormones you should know its forever,, you dont come off,, if you come off you lose it all ,, the end,, 200mg can not bring back what you had,,it can make you feel like normal again yes,, but can nto bring the muscle you had,, for that much more will be needed,,
in general a bodybuild know the price he pay for hormone usage,, and it is life dependency ,, this is the rule and we know it,,
the ONLY reason to go off hormones is if you want baby and have problem making baby,,,thennnnn you can get off and do what need to be done for few months...you will have baby and then boom on ,,ofcourse you will lose lean size but we bodybuilder are good in covering it with fat and stay around same weight,, put big shirt and disapear for 5 months...its a known tactic called the stomack virus enantat version
