Is that the Geoff Thompson film.

I read his book. Whilst enjoyable a LOT is embellished I think.

I have watched about 3 minutes of this film. Pathetic.

I do the door because it is extra money reasonably easy and at the end of the day it is a customer service job.

Legally the cannot but many of them do.

Also a wound up aggressive drunk man who got KO'd say when frustrated at the police and angry at when happened is contrasted with a calm doorman who says he was attacked first one of 2 things will happen in 99% of cases. The doorman will get away with it and the cops move the drunk aggressor on or it goes to court and gets thrown out. This is just my experience.

Yes in a perfect world, but in bad areas of cities/towns where "shit" goes down - these "activities" are swept under the carpet, the street constable does not care that some "punk" got a bloody nose from the club bouncer...

If you're SLED certified than yes you can restrain and throw people out. I've done it many times before

was it embellished? I haven't read it but Geoff doesn't seem like the kind of guy to embellish things. Seems to be pretty straightforward.
